14th AFRICA REGION SCOUT CONFERENCE 

3rd - 7th  SEPTEMBER 2009

 

The 14th Africa Region Scout Conference will be held at Gaborone  International Conference Centre (GICC), in the Capital city - Gaborone, Botswana from Thursday 3rd  to 7th  September 2009.

 

 

CONFERENCE  INORMATION:

 

Participants

People may attend the 14th Africa Region Scout conference as either a delegate observer   or as spouce or person accompanying the delegate/observer.

VENUE:

The 14th Africa Region Scout Conference will be held at Gaborone International  Conference Centre (GICC), in the Capital city - Gaborone, Botswana from  Thursday 3rd  to 7th  September 2009.

  

Fees and Registration

Participation fees will be as follows:

 

  1. USD $125 per participant  for the 14th Africa Scoust Conference
  2. USD $75 per participant  for the 5th Youth Forum
  3. USD $150 per participant  for those attending both the Youth forum and the Conference.

ACCOMMODATION

There is plenty of choice when it comes to accomodation in Gaborone.

 Participants are free to arrange their own accommodation within 5km radius of the event venue considering traffic conditions within the city at peak hours.

PLEASE NOTE

Conference participants can elect to book internal accommodation within the venue vicinity at Met Court Inn.

Those who choose to stay out side the venue vicinity please ensure you book accommodation within 5 km radious of the venue.

5th Africa Region Scout Youth Forum

 

The 5th Africa Youth Forum will take place in Gaborone, Botswana from 31st August to 2nd September 2009, prior to the 14th Africa Region Conference.

VENUE:

The 5th Africa Youth Forum will take place at The Center for In-Service and Continuing Education (CICE) a subsidiary of Botswana College of Agriculture (7km from the City Centre).

Participants


Each National Scout Organisation is invited to send a delegation of six young people.   The participants must be between their 18th and 20th birthdays in the years of the forum. NSO can also send not more than  six observers.

ACCOMMODATION
